What counts against a plan
- Messages per month
- Every message accepted by the API counts once, at the moment it is queued. Retries of a failed send do not count again.
- API requests per minute
- Requests above the plan's rate limit receive HTTP 429 with a
Retry-Afterheader. Nothing is queued and nothing is charged. - WhatsApp connections
- Each connection is an independent session with its own queue, so one busy number never delays another.
